Micro Intelligence Consult is the data controller for personal data processed through Akwaaba AI.

What we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, city, login details) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Your content (chat messages, uploaded documents, tasks, generated documents) — to provide the service (contract).
• Usage data (message counts, device and IP information) — to enforce plan limits, keep the service secure and improve it (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

• Hosting and AI service providers that process data on our behalf to run the service.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for sales, subscriptions, payments, tax and invoices.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, your chats, tasks, documents and profile are erased; anything we must keep by law is kept only as long as required, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and similar laws, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent, and complain to the Data Protection Commission. Contact support@foundationbuddy.app.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data separation to protect your data.

Cookies

We only use essential storage needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
